Your expert services by Smooth Transition are billed by the day, by the hour or by the project, depending on the service provided and client preferences.

• SOFTWARE TRAINING: Typically billed on a daily basis. A standard training day is two 3-hour sessions (such as 9 am to noon and 1 to 4 pm). For smaller sessions such as a 1 or 2-hour workshop, an hourly rate can be applied at your request.
   
• TEMPLATE AND MACRO DESIGN: The Smooth.docs family of templates and macros is licensed on a per user basis.  Programming hours to personalizing the program for your firm are calculated on a per-project basis. Pricing takes into consideration the templates requested, the amount of customization required, and the number of end users. Pricing is agreed upon in advance.
  
  
• DOCUMENTATION: Typically billed on a per-project basis based on a flat-fee for the standard documentation and an additional amount per 8-hour day for time spent customizing documentation based on firm-specific needs. The number of days to complete the documentation is estimated in advance.
