WORD TIP: REARRANGING PARAGRAPHS AND TABLE ROWS


Q. How can I rearrange rows in a Word Table? What about paragraphs?
A. Word offers a method that is faster than cutting and pasting to rearrange paragraphs in a document, or rows in a table. Position your insertion point in the paragraph or table row to be moved. Press SHIFT+ALT+ THE UP OR DOWN ARROW on your keyboard. The paragraph (or table row) is moved up and/or down through the document. To move multiple paragraphs or rows, select them prior to pressing Shift+Alt+Arrow.
